This group continues to meet once a month on the first Thursday with the women of the First Presbyterian Church of Gloversville. Our February meeting will be in Broadalbin, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich, beverage and dessert will be provided, and join in a few hours of Bible Study and fine fellowship. All women of the church are invited to attend.

For the coming year 2001 Edythe Montgomery and Edna Hill will be co-moderators and Marie Dana will be Secretary/Treasurer. Our Bible Study this year is Women and the Word - Studies in the Gospel of John.

During the year we continued with our usual Mission work and also took up a special collection for the Amsterdam Presbyterian Church in the amount of $200.00. We also make a yearly contribution to the Family Violence Crisis Center of Fulton County of personal items, baby needs and bedding materials which valued over $100.00. Some women continue to knit hats for the newborn babies at Nathan Littauer Hospital. This year we are taking a special collection for a project entitled Net Workers - A Malaria Prevention/Evangelism Program which will be sent to General Assembly in June 2001.
