The Deacons held receptions after the funerals of Lewis Pearo, Eleanor Parker, and LeRoy Stahl.

We purchased a rose for the altar celebrating the births of Emily Clizbe, Walker Goodemote, and Megan Snyder.

We prepared meals and called on people who had been in the hospital or were shut-ins.

Iris Ross sent many get well, sympathy, and other cards to members and friends of the church.

We worked with the Methodist and Catholic churches on the food baskets sent out at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as purchasing and delivering plants for shut-ins.

There will be deacons envelopes in the bulletin the first Sunday in February to help us with our work.

We extend our thanks to all who continue to bring items for the food pantry for the forty plus families who use it.
